The island of S. Vicente shows excellent natural and human conditions that will enable its sustained development. The idea of constructing an industrial park at Lazareto arose in the nineties, aiming at the following > Attract external investment  > Promote / Encourage private initiative and national investment > Promote industrial development > Create jobs > Increase exportations The Industrial Park of Lazareto was planned and developed in an area having the characteristics of a condominium in order to meet the need of infra-structures that allow a quick setup of industrial establishments which will foster economic activity in the island.
